If you are just opening your cookies, please pretend they look like this. 😉 While I tried very hard to pack them securely, It’s tough to send these babies off into the world and have them arrive just like this. Please let me know of any casualties so I can troubleshoot for the future.
This was a fun year. I was largely on my own for baking and decorating. And instead of reducing the number of cookies, I increased them. Not a wise decision. And you might notice a difference between the cookies as pictured and the recipes. That’s because I had also made a gingerbread dough and thought I was grabbing that to bake. In reality it was the “dirty chai earthquake cookie” dough. I wondered why it was more difficult to roll out than I would have guessed. lesson learned: label EVERYTHING.
I did have two little elves, Henry and his girlfriend Tess made the wedding cookies while I ran to the store for more ingredients. Very tasty!
I hope you enjoy the cookies as much as I did baking them…well…if I could pause the world while I did it.
